Let's Talk About Chasing Dreams

In this week's podcast episode, we got to chat with with the incredibly inspiring Katherine Plucinsky. Katherine’s story is one of faith, creativity, and having the courage to chase the dreams God puts on your heart. (Yes, even the ones that feel a little scary!)

Katherine opened up about her journey into writing, which started with something many of us can relate to—journaling through a tough season. Her first book actually came out of those very pages, written during the pandemic as she processed grief and healing.

One of the most beautiful parts of Katherine’s story is how she’s trusted God with the dreams she’s had since she was a kid—like living by the ocean or becoming a full-time writer. Even when it didn’t seem possible, she stayed open. And slowly, those dreams started becoming reality.

It’s a reminder that sometimes, the things we think are “too much” or “too far off” are actually God-planted desires waiting to grow in the right season.

Katherine’s journey is full of encouragement for anyone feeling a little stuck or unsure of what’s next. Her story reminds us that you don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to start. Be real. Be brave. And trust that God is in it—even in the small, seemingly “nothing” moments.

So if you’re feeling the nudge to write, to create, or to just do that thing that’s been on your heart for a while—take this as your sign. You’ve got this. And like Katherine, you might just be surprised at how God shows up in the process.
