As Catholic Converts, Courtney and Meghan have had a deep desire to visit the home of the Catholic Church, Rome! So why not go during a most special time in our Church, the Jubilee Year!
What is special about the Jubilee Year? Here is what the USCCB says:
Pope Francis stated in his February 2022 letter announcing the Jubilee 2025: "We must fan the flame of hope that has been given us, and help everyone to gain new strength and certainty by looking to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart and far-sighted vision. The forthcoming Jubilee can contribute greatly to restoring a climate of hope and trust as a prelude to the renewal and rebirth that we so urgently desire..."
A Once-in-a-lifetime Trip
Here’s the deal: this pilgrimage is once in a lifetime for many reasons. But one specific gift is that we worked with the best of the best in crafting this pilgrimage in a year when it is IMPOSSIBLE to find housing in Italy. Thanks to Encounter Travel, we booked some of the last available rooms in Assisi and Rome.
We are so excited to enter into this tradition of the Church with a group of amazing women! We will be visiting SO MANY amazing places in Italy, but we also know there is a ton of time to relax and drink a spritz on a terrace. Our hotels are wonderful, the company will be amazing, and if you’ve ever wanted to visit Rome, this is the best time to go!
